About This Platform

JackStudio is a TikTok Shop operations platform. It manages TikTok Shop orders, products, and analytics across businesses on behalf of the sellers and creators who use it.

TikTok OAuth Usage

JackStudio uses TikTok Shop's OAuth authorization flow to connect a seller's TikTok Shop account. When a seller authorizes the connection, TikTok issues an access token and refresh token scoped to their shop, which JackStudio uses to call the TikTok Shop API on their behalf. Separately, creators may connect their TikTok account via the TikTok Content API OAuth flow to enable content analytics.

Data We Collect

Via the TikTok Shop OAuth connection, JackStudio collects:

  • TikTok open ID and seller/shop identifiers (shop ID, shop name, shop cipher, region)
  • Order data (e.g. order status, line items, quantities, amounts)
  • Product data (e.g. SKUs, titles, pricing, inventory)
  • Access and refresh tokens required to call the TikTok Shop API

Via the TikTok Content API OAuth connection, JackStudio collects:

  • TikTok basic profile information (e.g. display name, avatar, open ID)
  • Video and content metadata (e.g. title, description, cover image, publish time)
  • Engagement data, where available via the API (e.g. likes, comments, views)

Purpose of Data Use

Data obtained via TikTok's APIs is used only to:

  • Operate day-to-day TikTok Shop order and product management
  • Produce sales, product, and content analytics for the connected business
  • Support internal management workflows (e.g. inventory, fulfillment, reporting)

This data is not used for external sharing or monetization.

Data Storage

Data is stored in JackStudio's production database, hosted on managed PostgreSQL infrastructure. Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored so JackStudio can keep the TikTok Shop connection active between sessions; they are not shared outside the platform. Data is retained only for as long as necessary to support the connected business's operations, and is deleted when a connection is removed or upon a valid deletion request.

Data Deletion Requests

Sellers and creators may request deletion of their TikTok-derived data at any time by disconnecting their account from Settings within JackStudio, or by emailing sales.jackstudio@gmail.com with the request. We will remove the associated tokens, shop/profile identifiers, and synced order, product, and content data within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is required by law.

No Sale of Data

We do not sell or share TikTok user data with third parties.
